Tara Moynihan

Tara started her practice of movement at the age of three with dance. As she developed her technique she had the opportunity to perform and study with companies such as the Boston Ballet; Worcester performing Arts, Washington Ballet, Burklyn Ballet, Prism Ballet. Tara attended Walnut Hill School for the Arts; completing her degree as a dance (ballet) and visual arts major. After graduation Tara joined the "Sorvino Dance Project" a modern dance company in Western Massachusetts. Her modern dance experience encouraged her to bring her movement more inward; this allowed her to step out of the role of "performer". This is when she found yoga. Since then she has been practicing yoga in various styles such as Ashtanga, Hatha, and Kirpalu. Tara has received her certification in ViniYoga through Fitness Resource Association (FRA).
